All we needed was one more second… but that is hunting for you, Fair Chase, Fair Game and the Bushbuck got away!

A great start to a morning’s hunt with a cull Impala to start off a 6 day hunt. Bullet was a very proud hunting dog!  

After a few stalks and long walks we spotted and hunted a big beautiful trophy Warthog one afternoon. Each late afternoon we went to specific spots looking for Buhsbuck in a prime area where we know are great quality Bushbuck. We had an amazing stalk on a huge Bushbuck ram. All we needed was one more second but that is hunting for you. Fair chase, fair game and the Bushbuck got away. We were not giving up there and will be back the next day.

After a few unsuccessful hunts, luck was on our side and we got this beautiful Nyala bull. The weather held clear for us for just one afternoon and we managed to spot this big bull! It had been raining since yesterday afternoon. Well done on this big beautiful Nyala Bull! 

Across a valley we spotted a bug Warthog, the stalk was on and luckily for us he was still feeding away with some Impala and an Oribi. A great shot was placed and this big bore was down. After this, a few more cull Impala were hunted.
