We have been chatting to and planning Alex’s hunt for the last 2 years and finally the time arrived for him and his wife to come out to South Africa for their first hunting safari with us. This was our first hunt for 2022 and it started off with a magnificent kudu bull and a great first time hunt for our clients from Michegan.  Kudu was high priority for Alex and the challenge was on to find a great example of an Eastern Cape kudu.

We had seen a lot of kudu, passed up on a few bulls until all of a sudden we spotted this bull. Sun was setting but Alex made a perfect shot and the bull was hit hard. Congratulations on a beautiful kudu bull, he has a massive body, great length and a great story to tell!

The next few days of the hunt were focused on hunting Impala and Warthog. Some great stalks, challenging scenarios and close encounters but Alex soon had his Impala and Warthog. On the last morning of the safari we decided to try go for a Bushbuck. Luck was sure on our side as we saw plenty, but then this monster walked out. Alex made a perfect shot.

 We hunted the Coastal Concession only on this hunt as our clients were heading off on their honeymoon trip to a big 5 game reserve and to the beautiful city of Cape Town!
